The heart of this Nighthawk Custom pistol is its hand-fit match-grade .45 ACP barrel. The barrel is crowned flush with the bushing, throated, and finished with a polished feed ramp for reliable feeding. The distinctive Nighthawk Custom tri-cut slide features an arrow-style serrated top and a heavy bottom bevel, giving the War Hawk Commander its aggressive, modern look while reducing reciprocating mass. Coarse front and rear cocking serrations provide positive grip even under stress.
Nighthawk Custom equips the War Hawk Commander with their proven EVERLAST Recoil System, designed for long spring life and consistent function. The one-piece magwell/mainspring housing is carefully hand-blended for fast reloads, and the entire pistol is fully dehorned for comfortable everyday carry. A lightweight aluminum solid curved trigger is tuned to the crisp Nighthawk Custom standard of approximately 3.5–3.75 pounds. Durable black nitride finish and aggressive G10 grips complete this hard-use Nighthawk Custom package.
